Just a few short decades ago, shopping channels on television provided millions of consumers with opportunities to buy products they might have never run across in their local markets: specialty food products, jewelry, home accessories, kitchen tools . . . you name it, and there was probably a channel somewhere that was showing it off for only $19.99 plus shipping.

The advent of internet shopping opened that market even further. Sellers all over the globe have taken advantage of having a virtually unlimited reach, meeting their customers where they are.

Shop almost anywhere in the world

With just a few clicks online, you can probably find just about anything you want, anywhere in the world, and have it shipped to you. Frankly, I love this. I love being able to find unique gifts, personalized items, and hard-to-find recipe ingredients at the touch of a button, so to speak.

In fact, I love online shopping so much that I’ve become content with not having to leave my house to shop for anything but groceries. Honestly, I have never liked shopping all that much, and I like dealing with crowded stores even less. And of course, when sale prices are the lowest, that’s…
