I could have highlighted almost every sentence in this story, Roz. It rings so true to what I feel sometimes when looking through the stories recommended in my network. There are stories that are decent, and others that are great. The great ones don’t come out, rapidfire, like spitting watermelon seeds in a cartoon.

I don’t publish often, but I can say with confidence that I’m happy with each story I’ve published, and feel any one of them represents me, my personality, and my work well.

I’m glad the algorithm is so hard to figure out. I don’t ever want to focus more on how to game the system than I do on making my work the best I can make it.
