I would much rather publish a few things I’m proud of than three stories a day just to grab the claps. I try not to give much thought to who might be reading my work, other than hoping the reader learns something that might help them, or finds something that resonates in some way. But mostly, I just want to be happy with it so I don’t cringe when I look back at it a year or two from now.
